The WIFC legend that is Wenham returned to the ranks during 2005 after a two year sabbatical, brought about in part by his cracked ribs and subsequent pneumonia after playing on in the rain at the M’Duck Cup in 2001. Rich is so laid back he’s almost horizontal, until you put him on a pitch, where his will to win shines through. Top scorer in 2001/02, and now finding a new home at centre half, you’ll always hear him cajoling his team-mates, which led him to captaining the A Team at two Worldnets. The WIFC Top Golf Champion in 2007 & 2008 once scored a spectacular ten minute hat-trick in the last ten minutes to win a game at Crewe, and supposedly notched his 500th career goal on the Stockholm trip in 2007.
